It hasn’t been 48 hours since 24-year old Rima Fakih has been crowned Miss USA and tabloids have leaked negative lights of her past life to the internet. Back in 2007 she was the winner of a Strip Pole contest that was hosted by Detroit’s very own Mojo In The Morning. I’m really hoping this will not be a re-run of Carrie Prejean. Michigan won the pageant, we have something to be proud of. I hope she doesn’t have anymore dirty secrets that would become public.

Being on the stripper pole isn’t that bad. At least she is remaining true to herself and technically she’s not a “stripper” or a professional “exotic dancer”. Now for her to win a Strip Pole competition, she had to have some training or have done it a couple times before, no? Maybe she’s naturally talented to move her body very sexy on the pole? I hope that’s all there is to it.

One of the reasons why I hope there is nothing else is because she sold her car to enter the competition. She would lose everything if she was dethroned. Best of luck to you Rima! Or should I say, Miss USA!
