Jay Sean Boycotts The Brit Awards “The fact I didn’t even get recognized was stupid”

Pop singer Jay Sean has definite plans to boycott next year’s BRIT Awards. Jay Sean has sold over 6 million copies of “Down” featuring Lil Wayne and they aren’t recognizing it at all.

“The fact I didn’t even get recognized was stupid,” he told the Daily Star. “That was embarrassing for the Brits. Without wishing to sound like I’m blowing my own trumpet, no-one did what I did in the States last year.

“I sold six million copies of ‘Down’. If that’s not enough to get me a nomination, I don’t know what is. If they invite me next year I might be washing my hair.”

They totally snubbed all of his achievements because of the fact they just don’t like him having a singing history in the UK, then going to America and having a big career. The BRIT awards felt Jay Sean ditched the UK and they hate that his career took off by coming to America–I would hate him too.

I applaud Jay Sean for expressing his dissatisfaction with the Brit Award organizers. How is it possible that, will all of Jay’s success, that he has not received a single nomination? The author of this article agrees with the Brit Awards that Jay’s success in the states created sentiments of anger and hate. How pathetic is that to feel such a way about someone because they were successful. What ever happened to wishing a brother well?
The Brit award organizers and this author just lost complete credibility.

I do wish him well. I wrote the article based on my emotions and personal experience. If every blogger had this 1 point of view about everything then no one would have any individuality or personality in their blogging, hence’ the press release blogs.

If you were the manager of someone. Then they got mad at you because they didn’t become successful with you, then they get another manager and they become successful, making millions. Wouldn’t you feel some sort of anger?

Now the word “hate” is strong. I agree I shouldn’t have said “hate”. But I should have used a word less cruel.
