Event: The Fashion Massacre 2
The Fashion Massacre 2 is a three fashion-show event in two locations. The show is scheduled for February 12th-13th 2010 and each show named into Chapters. Chapter 1 show will showcase 20th century fashion of “Vogue” and Chapters 2 and 3 shows will showcase Detroit’s elite urban clothing-line and more high fashion lines. For example FANCIEE, Goldenhanger, Freshmen, Ooche Wear plus many more. This historical event will show case Detroit native designers all under the age of 30. This event will give back to the community by donating 10 percent of the proceeds to Get aLife Foundation.
“The Fashion Massacre 2” was created last year February 13th 2009 at Cobo Hall along with “The Fashion Massacre”. Each designer came together to express their dreams and put their heart’s on the runway. “The Killing of the runway” from ones point of view inspired the name for “The Fashion Massacre” said Show producer and clothing designer Tyna Logan. The Fashion Massacre sold 250 tickets in advance within two weeks of the show being announced, then another 500 at the door. After such success with “The Fashion Massacre”, Tyna Logan decided to make this an annual event. She wanted to continue spreading her passion for Fashion amongst the city of Detroit, showing people that fashion is right here in our city.

Chapter 1 is Art League of Michigan 331 E.Grandriver rd, Detroit MI,48226 DOWNTOWN HARMONIE PARK!starting at 7pm
Chapter 2 will be held at Stairway 4am located on 229 Gratiot and broadway, Detroit MI, 48226
Chapter 3 will also be held Stairway 4am located on 229 Gratiot and broadway, Detroit MI, 48226 starting at Midnight
