The blog Block Party was created in the Summer of 2006 and is owned by Chris King of Detroit, Michigan. During the summer of 07 the site was turned into a forum around the release of Cassie’s debut album, hence came the name “Block Party Forums“.

Blogs were getting shut down left and right for posting Cassie’s songs and her album. So the site got it’s fame by going forward as a forum. The forum lasted for about 2 to 3 years until it was time to return back to it’s original state; a blog.

Now it is 2010 and the name of the site has been changed to The BPF Live, meaning “The Block Party Forums Live” in it’s expanded form. The site will showcase, music, celebrities as well as to entertain the visitors.
