Drake - Shut It Down (Feat. The-Dream)
This is a very nice track by Drake and The-Dream. Though the track sounds unfinished, they added a few effects to the song. When they said “shut it down”, they meant it. Parts of the song actually shuts down and starts back up; It’s pretty awesome.
I am sorry if I spoiled your excitement over a few effects. But yea, his debut album is shaping up very nicely. I’ll be sure to get it if he puts heat like this all over it.
This is an rapper from Detroit named Yung Snazz. She sampled Sade’s song “King Of Sorrow” and it sounds very nice. I was impressed by the quality of the song. Give it a listen.
Auto-Tunist T-Pain released a new video for “Reverse Cowgirl” and for the record, the song is heavy rotation in my ipod. Like I said earlier T-Pain is still the king of auto-tune, I don’t care who else uses it.
The video was pretty impressive the visuals were nice. The models and the darkness of the video added some “classiness” to T-Pain, even though there is nothing classy about him. There was no kind of dirt or horses because the “reverse cowgirl” he is talking about does not involve a farm. I’m sure you noticed that when it came out, haha! The release date for his new album “RevolveR” is TBA.
R&B artist Verse Simmonds released a new video for “Buy You A Round Part 2” featuring Yung Joc. My love for Yung Joc runs deep, he has been away for too long which is sad. So I converted into a “T.I.P-ist” haha (just kidding)!
This video is pretty much a teaser to nothing for Verse Simmonds. It’s just to get his face out there again. I’m still going to be checking for you Yung Joc! You still have fans!
Rapper Trina released a new video for her 1st single “Million Dollar Girl” featuring Keri Hilson & Diddy. I have to say that she is definitely ready for the summer. She is going to have at least one song on her new album “Amazin” that will be bumpin in the top 10’s on the radio.
This might be the song, but we have yet to see her albums full potential. On her last album her 3rd single “Look Back At Me” was on the on radio every moment of the day.
Play this record as frequently as possible. The rumors going on right now is that Shayne Ward- Tonight would be his first single off his yet to be named 3rd album but really this should be it! Baby bro ripped this track, goodness gracious boy is too talented hahahah. Chris gonna get mad at my ass for being unprofessional but whatever this SB spot =). To sum “The Way You Are” up is that the beat is alittle uptempo and mellow at the same time followed up with Shayne calm and cool voice. If that isn’t perfection then I don’t know what is. BTW, I still mess around with “No You Hang Up” and “Breathless” occasionally. I see you Shayne! Stay making big moves leeeeeeego
